1. Purpose and scope

This policy explains how Moon X Limited ("Moon X", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares, stores and protects personal data through www.moon-x.ae, business enquiries, meetings and related communications. It also explains the choices and rights available to individuals.

We process personal data in accordance with applicable UAE requirements, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 Regarding the Protection of Personal Data, where it applies.

2. Personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Contact and identity data: name, organisation, job title, email address, telephone number and country.
• Enquiry and business data: products or services of interest, project requirements, correspondence, meeting notes and proposal information.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, approximate location, referral source, pages viewed, timestamps and security logs.
• Preference data: cookie choices, communication preferences and areas of interest.
• Compliance data: information needed for sanctions, export-control, customer, supplier or other legally required checks when relevant to a proposed transaction.

Please do not send sensitive personal data, confidential operational data or classified information through ordinary website forms or email unless Moon X has provided an approved secure channel.

We collect personal data:

• directly from you when you email, call, submit an enquiry, request information, attend a meeting or exchange business details;
• automatically through essential website technologies and, where permitted by your choices, analytics or similar technologies;
• from your organisation, a referral partner, public professional source or group company where lawful and relevant to a business enquiry; and
• from compliance and due-diligence providers when required for a transaction.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Essential technologies may be used to provide core website functions, remember privacy choices, balance traffic and protect the website. Moon X uses Google Analytics for aggregate traffic and usage statistics. It remains off by default and only loads after you actively allow the "Analytics / performance" category in the cookie banner.

Moon X separately uses Microsoft Clarity for session recording — a materially different, higher-sensitivity technology from ordinary analytics, disclosed here on its own terms rather than folded into a general analytics description. When you allow the "Analytics / performance" category, Clarity records how you interact with this website: mouse movement, scrolling and clicks, and, unless masked, text entered into form fields. Clarity is configured to mask form-field input so what you type is not captured. Session recordings are retained by Microsoft for a limited period before automatic deletion, consistent with Microsoft's own retention policy for the product; Moon X does not independently extend that retention. Clarity data is processed by Microsoft, which may process it outside the United Arab Emirates — by using this site and allowing the Analytics / performance category, you consent to that transfer.

Both technologies remain off by default and only load after you actively allow the "Analytics / performance" category in the cookie banner. Moon X does not currently use advertising or personalisation technologies; if that changes, this policy will be updated first.

You can reject non-essential technologies through the cookie banner and change your choice through a persistent "Cookie settings" link. Browser controls may also allow you to delete or block cookies. Blocking essential technologies may affect website functionality.

Moon X does not use personal data for behavioural advertising unless this practice is expressly described in an updated version of this policy and any required consent has been obtained.

6. Sharing personal data

We may share personal data only as reasonably necessary with:

• website hosting, security, communications, analytics and professional-service providers acting under appropriate obligations;
• Moon X group companies, manufacturers or business partners when needed to evaluate or fulfil your enquiry and when lawful;
• banks, logistics providers, advisers, auditors and insurers involved in a proposed or existing transaction;
• courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies or public authorities where disclosure is required or permitted by law; and
• a buyer, investor or successor in connection with a genuine corporate transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.

Moon X does not sell personal data.

7. International transfers

Moon X's activities and partners may involve countries outside the UAE. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to use a transfer mechanism, contractual protection, security measure or other safeguard required by applicable law. You may contact us for further information about safeguards relevant to your data.

8. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected and for applicable legal, contractual, accounting, security or dispute-management requirements. Retention depends on the type of record and relationship. When data is no longer required, it is deleted, anonymised or securely isolated unless continued retention is required by law.

9. Security

We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards designed to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. 10. Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law and relevant exceptions, you may have the right to:

• obtain information about our processing and request access to your personal data;
• request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
• request deletion, restriction or cessation of processing in applicable circumstances;
• request transfer of personal data where applicable;
• withdraw consent without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal;
• object to certain automated decisions or request human review where applicable; and
• raise a complaint with the competent UAE data-protection authority.

11. Children

This business website is not directed to children and Moon X does not knowingly collect children's personal data through it. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

12. Third-party websites

This website may link to websites operated by group companies, manufacturers or other third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. We recommend reviewing those notices before providing personal data.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices, technologies or legal obligations change. The current version will be published here with a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or another appropriate channel.
